01.Do I need to know how to trade to use this?
No. You set simple conditions — "buy ETH if it drops below $3,000" or "stake SOL when yield is above 8%". The agent handles everything else: timing, execution, and risk checks. You don't need to monitor charts or understand blockchain mechanics to get started.
02.Can I turn it off at any time?
Yes, instantly. One tap pauses the agent. Your assets stay exactly where they are — the agent never holds them, never locks them. You can also set it to require your approval before executing any trade above a size you define, so you always stay in control.
03.Could I lose all my money?
The agent enforces the risk limits you set before it starts. You define a maximum portfolio drawdown — if losses hit that threshold, the agent stops trading and alerts you. Every position also has a stop-loss. No single trade can exceed your maximum position size. That said, markets are unpredictable and returns are never guaranteed — set conservative limits when starting out.
04.How much do I need to start?
There's no enforced minimum. In practice, very small amounts may not be practical after gas fees on some chains. Rubix, Polygon and Solana have low fees, making them the most accessible for smaller portfolios. You can also set position size limits — for example, never trade more than $50 at a time — to stay within a budget you're comfortable with.
05.What actually triggers a trade — and can I see every decision?
Trades are triggered by conditions you configure: price thresholds, yield rates, portfolio drift, or custom rules. The on-device intent engine evaluates live market prices against these rules continuously. Every trade is logged in real time on your P&L dashboard — the rule that fired, the price it executed at, and the outcome. Every execution is also recorded on-chain, permanently auditable.
06.What if my phone dies or loses internet while the agent is running?
The agent requires an active connection to evaluate conditions and submit intents. If your device goes offline, the agent pauses — it does not execute in your absence on remote infrastructure. Your assets remain in your self-custody wallet exactly as they were. When your device reconnects, the agent resumes monitoring from current market conditions.
07.Are my digital assets safe if Fexr shuts down?
Yes. Your assets are in a self-custody wallet — your private keys are on your device and only you control them. Fexr never holds or custodies your funds. If Fexr ceased to exist, your wallet and all assets in it remain fully accessible via your keys, using any compatible wallet app. The agent is software that acts on your behalf; it has no claim over your assets.
08.How does the policy engine technically prevent rule breaches?
Before any transaction intent reaches the chain, it is validated against your complete rule set on-device. Each rule check runs as a signed assertion — if any check fails (position size, drawdown, time window, asset class cap), the intent is rejected and never submitted. A zero-knowledge proof is generated for each valid intent, confirming rule compliance without exposing your portfolio state. This means enforcement is cryptographic, not just a software check.
09.How does the agent execute trades without accessing my wallet key?
When you activate the agent, a dedicated trading key is generated — completely separate from your main wallet. You authorize it once with a single tap. After that, it handles execution automatically: it can place orders on your behalf, but it cannot withdraw funds or move your assets. Your main wallet key never leaves your device and is never involved in any trade.
